He is survived by: his children, Melinda "Crickett" Ford (Wendell) of Wedowee, Tommy Cunningham of Wedowee and Joel Cunningham, Jr. (Tammy) of Chattanooga, TN; and his siblings, Jeanette Lowery (Jimmy) of Bowdon, GA, Jean Cook (Clyde) of Ephesus, GA, Mary Tarpley of Bowdon, GA, Lester Cunningham of Pensacola, FL and Rendel Cunningham (Judy) of Fairburn, GA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
