He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Chavez and Ronnie Salas Chavez; and his siblings, Toby Chavez, Della Gomez and Betsy Lara.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Chavez of Wedowee; his children, Ronne Chavez (Charles Parker) of Wedowee and Jesse Chavez of Standing Rock; his grandchildren, Ezra, Mollie, Claire, Lucas, Jade and Gaven; his great grandchild Jasmine; his sister Elisa Ringler (Jim) of Pennsylvania; and his close friend Chapo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family.
