He is survived by: his son Jack Herren, Jr. (Ginger) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Carley Frensley (Robert) and Cole Herren (Jodi); his great grandchildren, Harper and Charlie; and his sisters, Mary Parker of Wedowee, Nell Howell (Glen) of Mississippi, Betty Jo Van Dam (Earl) of Mississippi and Carol Ann Traylor (Jerry) of Newell.
