He is survived by: his wife Jean Birdsong Turner of Wedowee, Ala.; his children, Weltha Elaine Smith (Wallace) of Helena, Ala., Jerome Spratlin of Wadley, Ala., Chris Turner (Trisha) of Oceanside, Shawn Turner (Michelle) of Columbus, OH. and Rodney Turner (Stacey Ann) of Glen Burnie, MD.; his siblings, Marie Williams of Atlanta, GA. and Robert Turner of Atlanta; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Birdsong of Ohio, Jerry Birdsong, Raymond Birdsong (Julia), Tommy Birdsong (Lorraine), Jimmy Birdsong (Lynn), Sammy Hill, Eddie Hill and Janet Hill-King. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
