He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Allen Massengale and Mary Azalee Massey Massengale; and his brothers, Jerry Massengale, Jimmy Massengale and Johnny Massengale.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Massengale of Newnan, Michael Massengale of Roanoke, AL, Carolyn Combs of Grantville and Jimmy Massengale of Columbia, SC; his stepson Preston Strom of Opelika, AL; his brother Grady Allen "Bubba" Massengale, Jr. of Griffin; and his grandchildren, Christy O'Neal, Shane Massengale, Brian Massengale, Jodie Latimer, Scotty Hall and Brittany Massengale.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
