It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Smith of Wedowee, Alabama, who passed away on December 6, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dewey and Mary Lydia Herron Smith. He is survived by: his wife Martha Smith of Wedowee; his son Charles Daniel Smith, Jr. of Wedowee; and his stepchildren, Lynne Barimah of Douglasville, GA, Jean Luke of Panama City, FL and Andy White of Tallapoosa, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Wedowee's Helping Hands Ministry.
