It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Lewis Watts (Wedowee, Alabama), who passed away on September 2, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Watts and Gaudie Dorsey Watts; and his siblings, Willie Frank, Jesse Rufus, James Grady, Melvin Eugene, John Ester and Catherine Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Houston Watts of Wedowee; his children, Chauncey Watts (Tonia), Curtis Dylan Watts (Tameka), Nikkie Houston (Paul), Sabrina Sims (Lamar) and Maurice Houston (Nina); his grandchildren, Quavaughn Watts of Chauncey Watts, II, Aneka Watts, Kaseem Watts, Dontae Watts, Damarius Nolen-Watts, DaQuain Watts, Alyssa Watts, Angel Wilkes, Jaliya Wilkes, Jaquez Wilkes, ZaTahia Keith, Tameia Houston, Kamryn Houston, Calen Houston, Jada Houston, Davion Houston and Chance Upshaw; his great grandchild Skyler Watts; and his siblings, Hazel Scott and Rev. Larence Watts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
