It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Will Parker Sr. (Wedowee, Alabama), who passed away on April 7, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Will and Bessie Trammell Parker; his wife Lurline Sue Parker; his son Charlie Terrell Parker, Jr.; his stepson Jimmy Knight; his siblings, Oscar, John T., Earnest, James, Willie Frank, Mary Harmon, Rosa Lee Freeman, Ruby Lee Parker Andrews and Louise Parker Goodwin; his nieces and nephews, King Edward Knight, James Larry Knight, Jessie Mae Knight, Johnny Gray Knight and Mary L. Jordan; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Nicole Parker and Chad Venard Parker.
He is survived by: his sons, Lonzie Wayne Parker (Marilyn) of Wedowee, Jessie Parker (Cynthia) of Wedowee, Rev. Sylvester L. Parker (Ethel) of Wedowee and Billy Ray Parker (Katessa) of Coldwater, AL. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Benefield Funeral Home to go towards final expenses.
