He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tom and Molly Burns of Wedowee, Alabama.. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Davis Burns; his son Adam (Jennifer) of Irondale, AL; his grandchildren, Lucy and Harmon; and his siblings, Jane Johnson (David) of Wedowee, AL, Joe Tom Burns, Jr. (C. J.) of Wedowee, AL and Steve Burns (Sabra) of Roanoke, AL. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
