It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Battles in Wedowee, Alabama, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilburn and Elnora Battles. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Jennifer Bragg (Ronnie) and Jeff Battles; his granddaughters, Brianna Willingham (Eric), Blair Moody (Caleb), Emily Gillespie (Conner) and Caroline Battles; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Mae, Emma Rose Willingham and Audrey Jane Moody.
