It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byrd Stewart (Wedowee, Alabama), who passed away on October 5, 2019, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Byrd Stewart to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newton and Anna McLeod Stewart; and his wife Fairy Morrison Stewart. He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Bullard (David) of Birmingham and Polly Goodwin (Bill) of Aliceville; his grandchildren, Brandy Huey (Derrick), Brooke Corlett (Jack) and Will Goodwin (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Sammy Huey, Joshua Corlett, Noah Corlett, Emma Lockhart and Carter Lockhart; his sister-in-law Betty Nelson Stewart; and also, J. W. Stewart, Billy Stewart, Jack Simpson, John Simpson, David Stewart, Phil Stewart, Eddie Stewart, Jeff Stewart, Joe Stewart, Doug Wilson, Frankie Stewart, Gene Stewart and Wayne Stewart.
