She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dewey Clem McDearis and Willie Mae Dukes McDearis; her grandmother Maw; her son Doug Abercrombie; her husband Roy "Donald" Abercrombie of Wedowee, Alabama; her children, Teresa Brown of Carrollton, Donna (Tony Lambert), Janet Miller (Danny Baker), Kathy (Joe Norsworthy) and Tim; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Abercrombie of Douglasville, Georgia. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
