She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Willard and Lucille Hansman Westerhouse; her parents-in-law, Cecil and Arrabia Tanton; and her siblings-in-law, Milan, Elaine Tanton and Joy Tanton.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Ellison Tanton; her children, Debra Kay Terrell (Ken) and Dean William Tanton of Milner, GA; her granddaughter Michelle; her great grandchild Austyn of Macon, GA; her sisters, Jo Anne Richert (Wayne) and Linda Lou Addair (Marty); and her brother-in-law Jerry Tanton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Due to the circumstances of the Covid 19 pandemic a private family graveside service will be held at Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Nordstrom officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
