She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Savoy Phillips; her brother Rev. Harrell Boyd; her daughter Trina Allison Phillips; and her parents, Willie Mae Marler Boyd and Ross Byrd Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Searcy (Bobby), Mark Phillips and Jerry Phillips; and her siblings, Betty Sellers (Ed), Rev. Farrell Boyd and George Boyd. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
