She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie Rivers, Sr.; her sons, Paul Rivers and Earl Rivers; her siblings, Thelma Bell, Donnie Ward, Mary Murlean Morgan, Gussie Johnson, LeVilla Thomas, John McDaniel, Ulyesses McDaniel, Eddie McDaniel, Thomas McHellen and Frazier McHellen; her grandsons, Wallace Rivers, Jr., Larry Barkley, Sr. and Eddie Charles Rivers, III; and her great grandchild Daquan Rivers.

She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Barkley of Dothan, Alabama, Dorothy Blackmon (Billy) of Dothan, Alabama, Wallace Rivers, Eddie Rivers, Jr. (Blondell) of Dothan, Charles Rivers of Ariton, Steve Rivers (Jennifer) and Tina Young (Frank); her grandsons, Michael Rivers and Benjamin Young; her great grandchildren, Christopher Callins and Koby Barkley; and her granddaughter-in-law Jessica Young. She is also survived by grandmother; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
