He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Baucom and Irene Smith Baucom; his wife Rhonda Kirkland Baucom; his daughters, Stephanie Irene Baucom and Natalie Britt; and his siblings, Katherine Phillips, Martha Cole and Pete Baucom.
He is survived by: his children, Brittany Thorne (Bo), Ellis Baucom, Jr., Richey Baucom (Carol) and Guy Baucom (Jennifer). He is also survived by half-sister, five half-brothers, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
