He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Leonard Hamm and Martha Quillie Snellgrove Hamm; his wife Pauline Jones Hamm; his daughter Paula Vinson; his siblings, Agnes Watson, Edna Gifford, Robert Hamm, Leonard Hamm and Buddy Hamm; and his great grandchild Austin McNeal.
He is survived by: his son Eddie Chris Hamm of Webb, AL; his sisters, Sandra Johnson, Martha Klempter, Catherine Fennell and Nelle Ward; his grandchildren, Eddie Chris Hamm, Jr. (Angie), Kaye Dukes (Johnathan) and Jason Lee McNeal; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Michelle, Makayla, Allie, Logan and Wesley; and his great great grandchild Walker.
