It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Henson Smith of Weaver, Alabama, born in Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Flora L. Smith; his parents, Henson Smith and Louella Pike Smith; and his brother Lester Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas H. Smith Jr. and John E. Smith (Laurel); his grandchildren, Chris Carter (Katie), Shelbie Kendall (Nick), Phillip Bickers (Makena), Thomas "Tray" Smith III and Abigail Hope Smith; and his daughter Darlene Smith. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
