He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kirby and Mildred Kirby; and his brothers, James Lynn Kirby and Kenneth Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Batey Kirby; his children, Heather Lamey (Harley) and Brian Kirby (Gina White); his grandson Jack Harley Lamey, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Dana Wylie, Summer Davis, Angie Whitehead, Chris Turner, Kassie Hollingsworth, Lecresha Clark and Brennan Batey; and his grandson Grandee.
