She was predeceased by: her husband Daryl Gene Carson; and her parents, Robert Hunt and Sue Castello. She is survived by: her children, Iva Marie Carson and Daryl Gene Carson, II; her sisters, Michele Castello and Lisa Burnes; her stepfather Peter T. Castello; and her mother-in-law Wendy Nilsen. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Memorial Gardens (2100 Moncrief Rd, Gardendale, AL 35071).
