He is survived by: his wife Lori Ann Sanders; his children, Britany Baker and Marcus Ryan Sanders; his grandchildren, Alexia Baker, Nyla Rose Sanders and Kendrick Cornelius Sanders; his siblings, Doris Lacey of Raleigh, NC, Evelyn Imade' of Newark, NJ, Twalla Sanders of Selma, NC, Karen Benton of Raleigh, NC, Ronald Sanders (Linda) of Pine Level, NC and Arthur Sanders of Raleigh, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Sanders of Pine Level, NC, Michelle Price of Cedar Bluff, AL and Patrice Price (Tyrone) of Summerville.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church (4798 Cedar St, Cedar Bluff, AL 35959). A burial was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Weiss Lake Memorial Garden (3594 AL-68, Gaylesville, AL 35973).
