He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Thompson and Nellie Cate Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ginn Thompson; his daughter Jennifer Thompson Muncher (Lance); his grandchildren, Blake Muncher (Lex), Haley Muncher Duke (Van) and Gracie Muncher; and his brother Jim Thompson.
