She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence W. Walton and Ida Williams Charles; her husband William Edmond Haynes; her siblings, Roy G. Walton, Mark Walton and Lynne Shann; her granddaughter Jessica Sexton; and her niece Tracy Romano.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Lynne Haynes, Joan Patricia Garza (Richard), Kathleen Billie Poore (Danny), Jerri Ellen Cash (Jeff), William Roy Haynes and Matthew James Haynes (Carrie); and her sisters, Grace Walton, Robin M. Walton, Lee Walton, Dayna Walton and Rae M. Broussard. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
