Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carey Lee McKenzie of Weaver, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 85, on November 9, 2023. He was predeceased by: his former wife Eva McKenzie; his wife Lynn McKenzie; his parents, Russell McKenzie and Odessa McKenzie; and his sister Gaynell McKenzie.

He is survived by: his children, Michael McKenzie (Kim) and Michele Snider (Alan); his grandsons, Josh McKenzie (Meagan), Jeremy McKenzie (Cami), Trey Arnold (Stephanie) and Trent Arnold (Courtney); his brothers, Dale McKenzie and Windle McKenzie (Elaine); and his caregivers, Jane, Robin, Christina and Holly. He is also survived by several nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any charity benefiting American Veterans.
