With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin D. Abernathy Jr. (Waverly, Alabama), born in Valley, Alabama, who passed away on April 28, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Davis Abernathy, Sr. and Yvonne W. Abernathy; his wife Diane Helton Abveernathy; his children, Jason Abernathy (Christy) and Leigh Cannon (Dave); his grandchildren, Michael Abernathy (Kelsey), Ansley Moon (Dalton), Graham Cannon, Ryan Bond and Peyton Still; his great grandchildren, Parker, Gacie, Luke and Lilly; and his brothers, Mark Abernathy (Donna) and Charlie Abernathy (Nancy). He was also cherished by brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews.
