With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donnie Barber (Waverly, Alabama), born in Marianna, Florida, who passed away on May 18, 2019 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Christopher Barber; and his brothers, Charles Barber (Debbie), Samuel Lamar Barber (Alma) and Kenneth Earl Barber (Christie). He was also cherished by nephews, and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Donnie C. Barber.

Ethel Barber wrote a sympathy message

“To the brother's of my dad John David Barber , I am Ethel Louise Barber and my sister Maria Yolanda Barber , we are John David Barber daughters who lives in Los Angeles , California , On my adult years I met uncle Donnie only two times I saw him once a month a while I would call him to see how he was doing . The last time I called him he said he was out of the hospital and he said he had a heart stroke and then last year I call him no answer my surprise was he passed away.”
