It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rayburn Leon Allison of Waterloo, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Allison and Bama Allison; his siblings, Harve Allison, Andrew Allison, Eugene Allison, Lucille Clemmons, Gertrude Wright, Lois Smith and Sandra Baskins; and his favorite fishing buddy Bobby Gentry.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Carolyn Allison; his daughter Vicki Overholser (Shawn); his brother Vernon; his sister-in-law Shirley Allison; his grandchildren, Meagan Powers (Damon), Madison Overholser (Hannah) and A'Rheonna Overholser; and his great grandchildren, Bentlee Powers, Charlee-Brooke Powers, Huxlee Powers, Ayla-Kate Overholser and Maddox Overholser. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
