She was predeceased by: her husband Edsel Faires; her parents, Larimore Hayes and Gertrude Hayes; and her siblings, Artha Hayes and Mavis Hayes Hill.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Faires (Linda) and Nancy Faires Parrish; her granddaughters, Monica Parrish Davis (Wayne), Anna Faires McKinnon, Julie Faires Allen (Blake) and Audrey Faires Monaghan (Devin); her great grandchildren, Cheston Davis, Lila McKinnon, Brady McKinnon, Jace McKinnon, Ada Allen and Annie Allen; her sister Debra Hayes Rhymes (Richard); and her sister-in-law Kathleen Berry Hayes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
