He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Dwayne Jones; his parents, James Dewey Faulkner and Mary V. Faulkner; and his sister Josephine Faulkner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faulkner; his daughters, Tamara Hart of Waterloo, AL and Martina Faulkner of Waterloo, AL; his siblings, Sammy Faulkner of Waterloo, AL, Troy Faulkner and Mary Mullins of Corinth, MS; and his grandchildren, Adrian Hart, Christina Jones (Troy), Andy Croy (Amber) and Dustin Turbyfill (Holly). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
