He was predeceased by: his mother Viola Sharp; and his brothers, Sharp and Bill Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gentry; his children, Bruce Gentry (Annette) of Niles, MI, Susan Galarza (David) of Plainfield, IL, Karen Hale (Timothy) of Bremen, IN and Julie Gentry of Waterloo, AL; his grandchildren, Mandi Parker (Larry), Brett Gentry (Summer), Juan-Samuel Galarza, Andrea Shaw (Jason), Blair Hale and Mason Hale; his great grandchildren, Margot Parker, Ava Shaw, Alivia Shaw and Rayburn Allison; and his pet Prince. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
