He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. Danford and Willie Danford; and his brother Johnny Mack Danford. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Danford; his daughters, Cassie Herrington of Waterloo, Mylinda Pigford of Texas and Veronica Dean of Michigan; his brothers, Billy Danford of Mobile and Jimmy Danford of Mobile; his grandchildren, Scott Alllen Pigford, Jr., Jacob Taylor Pigford, Lincoln Dean, Adams of Kansas and Jaylen McClung; and his son-in-law Garrel Herrington.
