It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Lou Brown Young of Waterloo, Alabama, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Robert Young; her daughter Lisa Renee Scott; and her siblings, Mable Keeton and David Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Diane Woods (Randall); her sisters, Dorothy Sharp and Margaret Smith; her grandchildren, Monica Whitney Arnett (Craig), Destinee Barnes (Austin), Tia Beth Parrish (Derek) and Carly Kelley (Bradley); her great grandchildren, Brodie, Beau Parrish, Maddox, Maverick Kelley, Caroline, Callie Mae Arnett and Josie Reece Barnes; and her close friend Will Hollis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
