Rose Lynn Holland Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Lynn Holland of Warrior, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father George Trenton Murphy, Sr.; her brother George Trenton Murphy Jr.; and her niece Jessica Kupfer. She is survived by: her husband William O. Holland; her mother Nelle L. Murphy; her sisters, Edna Waller (Richard) and Jane McCurdy (John); her daughter Melanie Stringer (Richard); her granddaughter Lacey Stringer; and her son Charlie. She is also survived by loving cousins, nieces and nephews; and decades of loving children that she loved and taught and numerous coworkers and friends.
During the week before her death, Lynn informed her sisters that instead of Christmas presents for her this year, she wanted donations made to the fundraiser for her much loved great nephew Teddy Reed. In honor of that request, in place of flowers, a donation can be made to the GoFundMe Campaign at Giving Teddy a chance at an even brighter future.
