He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Cassie Cook; and his parents, Sterling Myrick and Alice Myrick. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Davis (Bill) and Alice Boone; his grandchildren, Courtney Myrick and Juliet Boone; his great grandchildren, Emma Cook, Jack Tipton, Robert and Kane Zeller; and his siblings, Olus, Gerald, Herald Myrick and Beetrice Wasson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home (225 Dana Rd, Warrior, AL 35180). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
