He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Rogers and Verda Johnson Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Callans and Joseph Rogers, Jr. (Anita); his grandchildren, Casey Rogers and Brooke Bonds; and his great grandchild Emilia Rogers. He is also survived by three sisters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home (225 Dana Rd, Warrior, AL 35180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Our beloved father, Joseph Samuel Rogers, Sr. found eternal peace on Thursday, February 13, at 4:17 p.m., after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing he's no longer in pain.
