He was predeceased by: his parents, Lellan Chappell and Agnes Chappell; his brother Stanley Chappell; his sister-in-law Fern Chappell; and his nephew Shawn Chappell.
He is survived by: his brother Ritchie Chappell; his sister-in-law Jayne Chappell; and his nieces and nephews, Ricky, Andy Chappell (Ashley), Laura Chappell and Brooke May (Judd).
