It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Alvin Ramey of Warrior, Alabama, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Ramey; his parents, Harry Ramey and Vivian Ramey; and his siblings, Barbara Ramey, Patsy Kennedy, Shirley Reid and Edward Ramey.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Dr. Sammie Reid. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
