He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas D. Parrish, III and LeRoy Maxine Richardson; and his brothers, Thomas D. Parrish, IV and Roy Parrish. He is survived by: his wife Janet Williams; his children, Cindy Golden (Michael), Kathy Chambers (Dale), Edward Philip Parrish, Jr. (Nancy), Jennifer Brown, Julie Schifanella, Darryl Smith (March) and Stacy Scott (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Sarah Stinson (Joel), Andrew Golden (Rebecca), Lauren Benefield (Casey), Sonya Smith (Chris), Matthew Smith (Catie), Alyssa Taylor (Timothy), Blake Reed (Emily), Josh Smith, Sophia Schifanella and Jessica Schifanella. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
