He is survived by: his parents, Luther and Gertrude Bailey Thomas; his brothers, Joe (Carol), Jerry, Buddy and Mickey; his nieces and nephews, Debra, Dale and Angie; and his brother Kenneth (Shirley). He is also survived by his two sister-in-laws, whose names are also Shirley; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
