It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor Elmore Gourgues of Ward, Alabama, born in Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Gourgues and Marie Gilbert; his former wife Billie June Gourgues; and his grandson Sheldon Gourgues. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gourgues; his children, John Gourgues (Rose Ann) and Michelle Gourgues; his stepchildren, Lyman Webb (Vonda), Lamar Webb (Dawn), Ryan Webb (Kayla) and Shonda Webb; his stepmother Adele Gourgues; his siblings, Greg Gilbert, Liz Springfield, Lylin Gourgues, Choyer Parker and Denise Hulsey; his grandchild Jayda Fisher (Stephen); his siblings, Gabe Gourgues, Olivia Bullard and Isabella Bullard; and his great grandchild Abe Fisher.
