She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hubert Sherrill and Mary Theo Sims Sherrill; her brother Glynn Hughes Sherrill; and her niece Anna Louise Sherrill. She is survived by: her husband James L. Bedwell; her sons, Chadwick Ralph Acton (Sherry) and John Clayton Acton (Erica); her grandchildren, Branson Rhett, Nash Dillon, Austin Lockard, Kinsley Madynn and Clayton Brooks; and her friend Dr. James Purdy.
