He was predeceased by: his father George H. James; and his brothers, Ronald and Gregory James. He is survived by: his mother Agnes Ward James; his wife Irene James; and his children, Calvin James, Sr. (Vicki), Angenetta Ford (Murray, Jr.), Eddie James, Sr. (Areia), Demetris James, Sr. of Brookwood, AL and Jennifer Coleman (Danny, Sr.) of Moundville, AL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; ten siblings; and many devoted brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
