He was predeceased by: his sister Diane Burke. He is survived by: his wife Sandie Smith of Wadley; his daughters, Debi Elton (Randall) of Opelika, Izzy Hanner (Steed) of Wadley, Madison Smith of Wadley and Kalyn Smith of Anniston; his grandchildren, Kaden, Cameron, Kylie, Kenzlee and Maddox; his siblings, Susan McQuistion (Denny) of Clarkston, MI, Melinda Norris (Rex) of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Kathy Themm (Art) of Oxford, MI, Gina Eichmann of St. Clair, MI and Philip Smith (Laurie) of Pensacola, FL.; and his mother Ada Jim Thomas Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 319 College St., Roanoke, AL 36274, to go towards final expenses.
