With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Burke of Wadley, Alabama, who passed away on November 16, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster B. Burke and Ola E. Hyatt Burke. He is survived by: his wife Myra Burke of Valley; his children, Johnett Brown (Ben) of Valley, Lisa Tidwell of Lineville, Richard Paul Burke of Wadley, Dane Richardson (Dena) of Wadley, Cash Wilson of Valley, Shane Whitten (Tabby) of Riverview and Jim Richardson (Angie) of Huntsville; and his close friend J. B. Jones. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to be made to the Bethany House in Auburn.
