He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Screws and Nannie Smith Screws; and his son Tracy Vinson. He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Mezick; his children, Darrell Thomas of Roanoke, AL, Jimmy Vinson of Heflin, AL and Melinda Rivera (Mike) of Clermont, FL; his stepdaughters, Christie Bennett and Donna Toney; and his sister Faye Blake (Talmadge) of Wadley, AL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
