He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlin Knight and Eva Bernice Hester Knight; his wife Mary Caldwell Knight; his siblings, Velma Albright Nolan, Denia Screws, R. L. Knight, Tony Knight, Emory Knight, Clifford Knight and Ezra "Buddy" Knight; and his children-in-law, Gregory Kirk, Ken Ray and Rose Knight.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Kirk of Wadley, Brenda Ray of Wadley, Don Knight of Wadley and Nicky Knight of Wadley; and his siblings, Elsie Perry of Roanoke, Franklin Knight of Roanoke and Manley Knight of Cragford, AL.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
