She is survived by: her husband Henry "Red" Bates of Wadley; her son Neal Bates; her grandchildren, Scotty Lee Brown, Stephen Jenkins, Joshua Shane Brown and Audriana Hunter; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Hunter and Joshua Elijah Brown; and her siblings, Joyce Mitchell and Paul Rogers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
