She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Gibson and Mary Lou Davis Gibson; and her siblings, Maggie Kritner, Ivalee Breedlove, Lois Trussell, Marie Turner, Mary Harris, Jessie, Junior, Hoyt, Ralph, Harvey and J. D. Gibson.

She is survived by: her husband Lee Silas Trussell; and her son Jerry Lee Trussell. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
