She was predeceased by: her mothers, Hazel Alford and Ethel May Reeves (Robertson); her husband Sidney Goings; her daughter Virginia Singleton (Goings); her sister Donna Jordan (Reeves); and her granddaughter Christie Frierson (Puckett).

She is survived by: her children, Barbara McGraw (James), Katherine Record (Jim), Eugene Goings (Sherron) and Johnny Goings; her brothers, Dennis Reeves and Kenneth Reeves (Sandy); and her pet Rex. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
