He is survived by: his wife Sue Ball Buckelew; his daughters, Michelle Schlichting, Jessica Smith (Matt) and Shannon Ahlijah (Anthony); his sisters, Velvalee Buckelew, Eunice Lefan (Larry) and Judy Hastings; and his grandchildren, Kyle Roberts, Brianna Rainwater, Preston Moody, Matthew, Jacob, Adam Smith, Ali Smith, Devon Galligan, Kelby Walker and Olivia Roberts.
